Josh was born in Parañaque City in the Philippines, and has an older brother and 2 sisters (1 older, 1 younger). When Josh was 6, his family moved across the world to Chicago, IL. Josh discovered gymnastics in high school, falling in love with the sport and all of its intricacies. His favorite event is Still Rings, where he was among the top 10 high school gymnasts in the state of Illinois! During his senior year of high school, Josh began coaching gymnastics for his local park district, and instructed both Boys and Girls classes. He continued to coach until he moved to Seattle 4 years later, in 2015. After a 4 year break, Josh is excited to be back in the gym to help train the next generation of gymnasts. Outside of coaching, Josh hobbies include reading, playing video games, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and taking long walks while listening to music. He is currently enrolled in the Digital Gaming/Interactive Media program at LWIT. Since he hopes to be a Video Game Developer when he finishes his education, Josh is always happy to take recommendations for a fun new game to play! His current favorite titles are: League of Legends, Final Fantasy XIV, and Monster Hunter World.
