GYM EXTRAVAGANZA

Gym Extravaganza is our annual end-of-the-year show! This is a really fun event we put on each year where the gymnasts ages 3 and up are celebrated for all the hard work they have been doing in classes! Because we are a non-competitive gym, Gym Extravaganza is a great opportunity for gymnasts to showcase what they have learned and are learning during the year.  

Each class will begin learning routines on ALL of the events starting the week of April 25th. On floor, they will learn a group routine with their class, and on the other events—bars, beam, tramp and vault—they will learn routines that they will perform for their parents and in front of just their class, so any shy performers out there have no need to be worried about who’s watching. :) All students will work on these routines and their gymnastics skills every week in class until Gym Extravaganza, giving them lots of time to prepare for their show! 

Gym Extravaganza is all about YOUR child! You will get to rotate from event to event with your child’s class, so you will have front row seats for all of your gymnast's routines. Between rotations we also have fun performances from our Elites and Xcel team, so your gymnasts will get to see some fun, higher level routines that we hope inspire them! We finish off every show with each class coming up on the podium and receiving a medal for participating! :)  

Gym Extravaganza will be held at The Gymnastics Connection for an entire week: June 13-18. We will have shows each evening during the week, and a few mornings, including Saturday morning. Your child’s show will be related to when their class is, but the time may be slightly different than their typical class start time. We will try our best to make their show as close to their normal class as possible, but some morning classes may have their shows on a different day of the week. The final show schedule will be sent out no later than May 27th.  

We have had such excellent feedback every year from gymnasts and their families about Gym Extravaganza, and we understand how exciting and special it is for students who can’t wait to show all of their friends and family how they have grown as gymnasts. In years past we have charged a performance fee to help offset the cost of putting on the event, which we will not be charging this year. Although, each participating gymnast will need to purchase a performance leotard (girls) or tank (boys). The performance leotard (girls) and the tank (boys) will be a matching outfit with their class! This makes the gymnasts feel extra special at their performance. :) There will be no refunds or exchanges once these custom orders have been put in, so please ensure you are ordering the correct size.
