The Gymnastics Connection is Currently Closed

To all Gymnastics Connection families:

As some of you may already know, Governor Jay Inslee announced today (March 16) that he is requiring restaurants, movie theaters, and other recreational facilities to close for at least the next two weeks. As a result, The Gymnastics Connection will be closed until at least March 31. As much as we hoped to be able to wait this out, we stand by his decision and know that all steps being taken are done for the sake of public health and safety.

At this point, we have limited information to go off of, so all we can do is wait out these next couple of weeks to see how the situation develops. This will be a very difficult time for us financially and emotionally, and we ask for your prayers and your support during this time. For our current students, we would greatly appreciate it if any of you who have not been hit too hard by all of these changes would consider remaining enrolled with us throughout this closure. Several of you have already sent us messages of love and support, but we recognize this is a lot to ask of anyone and hope we can all come through this okay as a community.

We know there will be a lot of questions about how this closure will work, what it might mean for our other events (spring break, Gym Extravaganza, etc.), and more. At this time we do not have all the information as we are all currently just trying to catch our breath and continue to adjust to the daily changes coming from our government and health officials.

One item on our agenda is to get some drills, stretching, and conditioning to families that are still enrolled with us! We are currently working on videos and figuring out the format for these and will have updates for you all over the coming weeks. For the moment, office staff will still be available to answer questions as best they can via email or phone call, but we ask that you please be understanding if we do not have all the answers for you at this time. We are all in this together and there is a lot of work to do to ensure everything can get back up and running when the time comes.

Thank you all once again for being a part of our Gymnastics Connection family and for your patience as we continue to keep you updated during these uncertain times. We will cross our fingers that we will see everyone again soon. The coaches send their love to all their gymnasts staying at home and want you to keep practicing and stay strong! In the meantime, stay safe and care about all those around you and the lives you touch: we all have to do our part to care for one another!
